A Taste of Things to Come on Oracle AppAdvantage

All this week we have been discussing Oracle AppAdvantage. We started off this month with Howard Beader’s Middleware Minutes and a preview of Oracle AppAdvantage. Earlier this week, the interview with Howard went into the details of Oracle AppAdvantage and the business value it provides our oracle Applications customers. The customer brochure that we published in our post on Tuesday further attests to the business impact of oracle AppAdvantage and hopefully has got some of you thinking about where in the Simplify->Differentiate->Innovate spectrum does your organization fall in.
Rick Beers’ IT Leaders Editorial tied the essence of Oracle AppAdvantage with how successful CIOs think and operate. Unless we are on a continuous path to reinventing ourselves, we are likely to get overtaken by others who are doing so. Rick Beers’ paper is also a good statement to that effect.
Over the next few weeks, we will focus on specific business value entry points and the specific use cases that organizations field today. We will aim to provide you a 360-degrees perspective on the business value, discussing the entry points from solution, implementation and business strategy perspectives. We will showcase the business drivers we see for the entry points, discuss the implementation use cases with customer examples and get the experts to weigh in on deployment and design strategies.
