A word I invented 25 years ago finds an unexpected life.
The first couple times I looked into setting up an OpenGrok server for a new project, I was quickly lost in unfamiliar territory and terminology about J2EE servlet containers and the like. There didn't seem to be a quick guide for someone who isn't a J2EE developer but who just wants to set up Tomcat and make it run an existing webapp. But I finally got around to plodding through it all and it's actually quite simple. Here I've tried to write simple instructions for doing it.
