Oracle Food and Beverage: Virtual Connect November 10-12

The world is a different place than when we last connected with our customer community in spring of 2020. Over the course of the last several months our industry has faced seemingly impossible business conditions and monumental change. We’ve also seen tremendous innovation, resilience and a community that stepped up when local independent restaurants needed them most. 

The Food and Beverage team has conducted close to a hundred complimentary assessments for customers looking to pivot their on-premises operations to off-premises overnight, built financial models for restaurateurs to prove out the business case for loans and rent forgiveness, and worked closely with integration partners to open new sales channels for customers in record time. The learnings gained are significant, and so we’ve decided to host a virtual event next month to bring all that innovation and best practices to the surface for customers.

Oracle Food and Beverage Virtual Connect is designed to provide customers with practical and actionable information as you redefine your restaurant technology strategy for business growth and profit. Each day will focus on three core themes:

  • Reimagining revenue growth
  • Rebounding margin
  • Rebuilding teams and process

Agenda at a glance

On the 10th of November at 10:00 a.m. eastern standard time we will kick off the event with a keynote address from Oracle Food and Beverage SVP and GM Simon de Montfort Walker and vice president of strategy Chris Adams. Simon and Chris will discuss the state of the industry, the priorities and growth opportunities for the restaurant industry at large, and the technology roadmap to help you grow with predictability and scale. Simon and Chris will also host a live session at 7:00 p.m. eastern standard time. Registering for either keynote session will also give you access to fifteen on-demand Power Sessions on topics ranging from lowering your payment and delivery costs to highly technical topics like making sweeping configuration changes in Oracle MICROS Simphony. Each session will be fifteen minutes in length, designed to allow you to consume the topics most relevant to you and your business objectives, and make an impact to your organization now.

The on-demand Power Sessions will be available throughout the course of the three-day event. To close out the week we will host live Ask the Experts sessions for customers looking to explore topics in more depth or engage with peers. Four Ask the Experts sessions will be held at various times on November 12th so that you can attend the session most convenient to you.
