Sun Storage 7000 2009.Q3.4.1 Release

A new micro update to the 2009.Q3 software has been posted. This release contains fixes for three important issues:

  • poor system performance while resilvering
  • an Active Directory security vulnerability
  • erroneous diagnosis of CPUs as faulty

All customers are encouraged to update to this release as soon as possible, particularly those using Active Directory.

Complete release notes can be found here.

Comments:

Does "6895905 ZFS resilvering renders system unusable" mean like the BUI and /SP/console become basically unresponsive during resilvering? We experienced this earlier in the week when we replaced a failed drive on our 7410.

@Charles: Yes, this CR can cause the BUI and CLI to become non-responsive while resilvering.
