A new slashdot low?

Slashdot stories can be annoying and petty at the best of times, but an article today regarding a Microsoft employee who has gotten adult measels is definately a new low. One of my colleagues had this recently - its damn serious, not something to make fun of. At least some of the folks commenting on the article see it the same way.
Comments:

Isn't getting Measles as an adult deadly? Either that or Chicken Pox I forget, but yeah its definitly not fun. That's why I like what Scott McNealy always says "If you are sick, stay home"

Potentially deadly in adults, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases factsheet on it states that about thirty million cases occur each year, resulting in some three quarters of a million deaths (www.nfid.org/factsheets/measlesadult.pdf).
