Working With Features Marked As 'In Developer Preview'

Richard Bingham
Senior Development Manager

You may have noticed a couple of capabilities inside Application Composer with the text 'This feature is in developer preview', and wondered what that means. Here is an example:

In essence this statement informs you that the feature has been released early in its overall road-map, usually due to popular demand by our customers.  It means the feature is likely to be further enhanced in subsequent releases and to keep an eye on the readiness content for additional capabilities.

The comment is also intended to encourage feedback on the feature, so that future extensions can satisfy the most common needs of its users. We recommend providing this feedback using either Enhancement Requests (via MyOracleSupport) or via Oracle Customer Connect. Please note that the features with this statement are fully tested and fully supported by Oracle in the normal way.
