New Whitepaper: Building a Custom Fusion Application

If you have an on-premises deployment of Fusion Applications and wish to extend it with your own custom application, Vik has created this whitepaper to guide you through the development steps. This simple walk-through includes:

  • Task overview and recommended naming standards
  • Registering via the applications taxonomy
  • Creating the application in JDeveloper using ADF
  • Using application-specific components like lookups and messages
  • Your options for deployment and integration

We hope you find it useful, and please feel free to leave your feedback in the comments section below.

Comments:

Thank you Vik and the team for the white paper. Good to see all the scattered information in a concise form in one document.
A couple more things would have been really useful:
1. Some notes on the UI Shell and how to use it
2. A mapping between the various applications and their .ear files. Or at least a note on how to find this. I have just started working on FA and finding where to deploy a customized JAR is one of my biggest problems.

Regards,
Sujoy

great!!The fusionFx-simple skin extension is a special type of cascading style sheet (CSS) that enables you to customize the appearance of Oracle Fusion Middleware Extensions for Applications (Applications Core) components, ADF Faces components, and ADF Data Visualization components.
