NEW: Oracle Learning Library
By Richard Bingham-Oracle on Aug 21, 2013
It's called Oracle Learning Library, is exceptionally easy to use, and hosts a massive range of more than 3500 content items. These range from simple videos, tutorials, articles, and demos, to more in-depth self-paced interactive learning modules. The content is all developed by Oracle developers as well as trusted community members, and new content is uploaded daily. It currently gets more than 100,000 visits per month, and over 50% of them are new every month, illustrating its exploding popularity. The video below demonstrates how to find useful content for customization and extension of Fusion Applications, in this case related to creating custom business objects in Application Composer.
All content is tagged appropriately to make it easy to find, and most is organized into 'series' based on the topic area. For the Fusion Applications Developer Relations content it mirrors the playlists on our YouTube channel, split into Page Composer, Application Composer, BI Composer, ADF, and SOA. Alternatively you can simply browse and search by Product Family 'Fusion Applications'
which gives everything including functional content, or fine tune that
to developer-related content by choosing the child Product 'Fusion Applications
Customization and Extensibility'.
In addition, dozens of items of recommended content exists that complement ours, especially in areas such as Oracle Cloud features and services, the Oracle Fusion Applications product family features, and using Oracle Fusion Middleware technology. This central tool is becoming very popular and since it covers over 200 Oracle products it is truly central learning resource. We will certainly be contributing to it regularly.
