Nice post Vivek.
Do you have any idea on increasing Jdev speed while doing customizations as model layer customizations are very slow. Currently, I have set following in jdev.conf , AddVMOption -XX:MaxPermSize=4096M and following in ide.conf :
AddVMOption -Xmx6064M
AddVMOption -Xms1024M

But then also I feel model layer customizations are slow.

Thanks in advance,
Neha

Thank you Neha.

Your mem settins looks good to me. I have actually used lower setting then that for customization as my machine did not support that high config.

Model layer customizations can be slow in couple of areas for which there are known bugs and have been fixed in later releases. For example, opening EO properties is slow due to a bug in rel 7 which was fixed later etc.

Please feel free to raise those issues on our forum https://community.oracle.com/community/oracle-applications/fusion_applications/customizations__extensions_and_integrations
