Searching the Communications Suite Information, or You Can't Always Get What You Want

I still hear all too often that while the Communications Suite wiki is chock full of information, it is sometimes hard to find things.

My initial reaction is, have you read Finding What You Are Looking For? You just might get what you need.

Comments:

what will happen to the communications suite now that oracle is directing this party?
After all they do own behive which basically overlaps with the comm suite.
Will we ever get IPS packages for the comms suite?

Communications Suite is continuing on w/ Oracle in the Oracle Communications Global Business Unit. See:

How is SJSCS licensed for commercial/production use? I understand Solaris 10 has undergone some very recent post-acquisition licensing changes, such that it can now only be downloaded and used for a 90 day evaluation period, and after that a support contract is mandatory.

Is this now similar for SJSCS?

Dave, yes, this will be the same scenario for Comms. All usage will need to be licensed. Technically you don't need a support contract, as you can buy a perpetual software license. But you do need the license.
