Just In: Latvian Server Sets New Comms Delivery Record

The things you learn while at a Comms Summit dinner. John D knows what I'm talking about. I do have the photo proof, but right now, I can't figure out how upload from my camera to a SunRay. You'll just have to wait.

Update:

Here's our Latvian server on the far right.
As JohnD indicates in Comments, there was a lot of stress from our sometimes confusing and out-of-sequenced requests. Nonetheless, no food was dropped in the process and we all left feeling that we had come across a high-scalable and performant server indeed.

Comments:

I must say the benchmark numbers for that server are positive; performance testing indicated respectable response times under heavy loads.

Thanks Derek, next time I'm not in a rush to get out the door, have breakfast, read my mail, do a quick blog entry, and make a flight, I'll give 'em a try.
