Avnet unveils Oracle technology and demo centre in Dubai

The demonstration facility will host Oracle's engineered systems, including the Exadata Database machine and Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud. In addition, the distributor states that the demonstration centre will help Avnet's channel partners in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to address business challenges that their end-user customers are facing.

Testimonial: Oracle Exadata, a consolidation machine for Redcats (Le Monde Informatique)


A very nice four-page testimonial article in the French press about the Exadata solution adopted by Redcats, an affiliate of the Pinault Printemps Redoute group, specialized in international online fashion and home furnishing distribution.

It is a great story of a consolidation project with mix OLTP and DW workloads

Exadata French partner Overlap supported the customer with the proof-of-concept using the Exadata infrastructure provided by VAD Altimate.
