The new release consolidates three previous standalone products— Primavera Project Delivery Management, Primavera Cost Controls, and Primavera Capital Planning—into a single application, Primavera Unifier Project Controls.

Highlights include four key enhancements.
- Support for additional browsers. Earlier releases worked only with Microsoft Internet Explorer. The latest version supports Explorer as well as Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.
- Improved navigation tools. New top and left navigation capabilities reduce the number of clicks required to navigate within the product. In addition, a new function helps users quickly locate projects using search rather than moving through a menu hierarchy to find the desired destination. Users can now also customize their experience and retain tabs to use again in subsequent sessions—in earlier releases, only company administrators could configure the display and sequence of tabs, and the number of tabs displayed was limited to six. The new tabs model allows users to move directly to frequently visited locations, such as home, company workspace, or individual projects. The new model also supports an unlimited number of tabs and multiple tabs for a single location, which makes it easy to navigate in different areas within a location.
- New mobile capabilities. In the latest release, users can utilize their smartphones and tablets to attach photos to business process records, such as requests for information and punch list tasks required to fulfill project obligations. Photos are often needed to augment text descriptions in order to clearly describe requirements or issue areas.
- Additional improvements. Other new capabilities in the solution include the ability to display cash flow in two scales, incremental and cumulative results.
