Document Print Service (DPS) Release 20.1.1 is Now Available!

We are happy to announce that Document Print Service 20.1.1, the latest release of AutoVue's printing solution is now available.

Document Print Service (DPS) 20.1.1 includes two major enhancements, which aim to help streamline both corrective and preventive maintenance operations, and improve the performance and life of assets in the Energy industry.

The first one is called packet printing. This feature allows printing of multiple documents in such a way as to allow the end user to create a package or a set or a packet. In the context of the asset intensive industry, a packet is the combination of a work order in the Asset Lifecycle Management application, along with all its attachments, which could be safety instructions, plant layouts, graphics etc. As such, the packet printing API allows integrators to add the packet printing capability to any enterprise business application.

The other feature is the ability to retrieve document size. The main purpose of this enhancement is to allow better routing of documents to the most appropriate printer, thus reducing errors and avoiding costly mis-prints.
