New Info for Integrations in AutoVue 20.2.2

An exciting addition in our recent 20.2.2 release of AutoVue is a new document called the "AutoVue Integration Guide".   This document provides a high-level overview of the various integration technologies that AutoVue provides, and when it is best to use each of these technologies. It describes a variety of common integration scenarios and recommends the best technology to use for each scenario.

AutoVue provides a number of very powerful integration tools - and it isn't always obvious which tool is best to use in each situation.   This guide will advise AutoVue customers and partners on the best situations in which to use each of these technologies.

Let us know in the comments if you are using AutoVue's integration technologies and if there is additional information we can provide to help you out!

Older Versions of File Format

In order to ensure that our development efforts are focused on strategic file formats and versions, as well as high-value functionalities, we have dropped support for a number of low demand formats and versions in past AutoVue releases.

Customers can usually expect to find support for at least 5 previous versions of file formats

However AutoVue 20.2.2 supports:

  • 16 versions of AutoCAD (versions 12 to 2014)
  • 8 versions of Word (versions 6 to 2010 )

Customers who have experienced issues with older file versions in 20.2.1 are encouraged to move to 20.2.2

CON8741 Visual Information Navigator: Next-Generation Interaction Paradigm

The business value of IT systems is essentially based on establishing, understanding, and manipulating relationships between business objects. For more than 30 years, this has meant screens showing tables, rows, and columns. The look and feel may have evolved over the years, but the same paradigm has remained. Is that still the best way to visualize and manipulate relationships? Oracle believes that there is a better paradigm that will radically improve the quality and “attractiveness” of the user interaction. This interactive session features Oracle’s new visualization and interaction paradigm called Visual Information Navigator, which is being deployed within Oracle Fusion, starting with Oracle Fusion Innovation Management, to deliver next-generation interaction
