WebLogic Partner Community Newsletter February 2014

Juergen Kress
PaaS Partner Adoption

Dear WebLogic Partner Community member,

In the last 10 years Oracle drove the market to consolidate database platforms into a single high available private cloud. The next step is to consolidate applications on a single WebLogic platform, which opens great service opportunities for you as a partner. Many of our joint customers still use iAS and other obsolete technologies. A good opportunity to start the consolidation during a hardware refresh based on a certified platform.

Thanks for the community for sharing all the content on Configure Coherence HotCache , Common WebLogic Problems , WebLogic & JRockit FlightRecording scheduling , Deploying Jenkins to a WebLogic Server , REST, SSE or WebSockets on WebLogic 10.3.6 , Simple Sample Custom Database Authenticator for Oracle Weblogic Server 11g & Af InputDate Default Message hint - Disable.

In the ADF and JDeveloper section we announce the Virtual Developer Day: Oracle ADF Development – Web, Mobile, and Beyond. Our ADF Architecture TV published new classes on Design - Service Integration Architectures - SOAP Services. If you work on ADF projects you better know Top Ten Secrets of Successful ADF Projects and improve Your Oracle ADF App Response Time by as Much as 70 Percent by using the ADF Performance Monitor. Thanks the community for sharing all the content on Working with the select Many Checkbox component & Explaining change indicator property for ADF attribute.

One of the next big trends in IT might be the Internet of Things. Iot brings all together from embedded Java, data and process integration to pattern matching to make and execute decisions. Get Ready for IoT!

See you in Malta!

Best regards,

Jürgen Kress
