The EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect on 25th May 2018, establishing new controls around how companies use and share personal data belonging to customers, employees and other individuals. With non-compliant businesses at risk of being fined up to four percent of their global turnover, or €20 million (whichever is higher), it's clear that personal data governance and protection is now at the top of the agenda.
This new regulation is also an opportunity to realign any business for new digital ways of working.
With insight, knowledge and good planning it is possible to use modern technologies to achieve both goals: address regulatory requirements and achieve digital transformation for a more successful company future.
