Partners can Resell Universal Credits for OACS and Big Data

Mike Hallett
Partner Development for Business Analytics

For easy adoption and ramp up of usage, partners should find the PAYG and minimum Universal Credits ($1k per month) options a great way to attract clients to start up an initial pilot project for Analytic Cloud (OACS), and then increase commitment to a larger on-going UC contract once a client is convinced of the business value and project’s success.  Of course, any customer who already has a Universal Credits contract can easily try OACS or Big Data Cloud within that; starting up a service for a few hours or days as required, and then setting OCPUs to nil to "stop the meter running" at any time.

OPN Silver, and higher, members can resell Universal Credits for OACS, Big Data and all of the PaaS and IaaS cloud.

There will also be a live webinar with Q&A for Partners on this “New Oracle Cloud IaaS and PaaS Universal Credits and the new BYOL to PaaS program”:

  • Date: Wednesday, December 13, 2017
  • Time: 11:00 AM Central European Time / 10:00 AM UK - Duration: 1 hour
  • @ Register today

You can find on OPN the Partner Cloud Services Discount Schedule:

  • As at 14/Nov/2017, you can see the “Universal Credits Model for PaaS & IaaS - Partner” Discount Schedule on Page 11 of 15
  • And the standard Customer discounts table on Page 12 of 15

The full price list is @ Oracle Universal Credit Pricing | Oracle Cloud

You can also download a copy of the standard Universal Credits contract terms.

A customer can easily buy their own PAYG order on the Cloud Buy Now link, and can work with you, their partner, on a resell contract for Universal Credits when ready to adopt this as a lower cost option.  In the first instance, partners should contact their channel manager to create a resell contract for Universal Credits.
