To unlock the value of big data, organizations need to extend the existing IT architecture from the tried and tested relational technology to integrate with non-relational technologies. Only this combination of both, with the analytic techniques they enable, can propel organizations toward fact-based decisions.
The research suggests evidence that in 68% of all organizations who combine both technologies to the fullest extent, achieve higher performance: twice as many high-achievers as low-achievers have supplemented relational technology with non-relational technology to the fullest extent needed.
