On June 19, 20 and 21, the Meeting of Free Software III ocurred in João Pessoa, the ENSOL 2009. With the hard work of the excellent staff of organization above the event was a sucess and had a big public presence.
In the three days of event, we learn most about free software. These were many personalities there, among them was Guido Lemos, a professor at the Federal University of Paraiba and cordinator of LAVID who spoke about OpenGinga (http://www.openginga.org/index.html).
I can´t speak enough of the magnificent Júlio Neves, that not only spoke of but also taught about Free Software for all.
Rodrigo Padula was another presenter at ENSOL, who exposed the Fedora Project. He also updated everyone on the status of this project in Brazil.
Anahuac also presented with the help of his daughter. He spoke of his experience with the KyaPanel (http://www.kyapanel.com/). Anahuac´s perspective was very interesting as he exposed the ways to make business with the Free Software. As he said: "this business of free software is good because you win in double".
Among the many who spoke at ENSOL 2009, Richard M. Stallman was most special. He spoke to 600 people, who were attentive to every word from the "father" of Free Software.
Thank you to all that were. Congratulations to Vitor Baptista, or Jesus (http://vitorbaptista.com/) for the outstanding organization of event. For those that didn't attend, you can't imagine what you missed! Next year there will be even more!
