OpenSolaris as Amazon EC2 VPC customer gateway

OpenSolaris EC2 team continues to explore different possibilities using OpenSolaris in virtualized/cloud environments. The recent addition to that is our VPC Gateway Tool, which lets you seamlessly bridge the connection between your data center and Virtual Private Clouds running within Amazon EC2 infrastructure. 

This eliminates the need for special purpose devices such as router and provide unprecedented security. The deployment is super simplified and the requirement is just an OpenSolaris Box running latest OpenSolaris release. You can do it on an independent machine or you can do it within a VirtulaBox client, simplicity remains the same. The VPC tool is up for further development and interested people should join the Kenai project if you like to get involved.
