Robert Farrington
Applications Technology Integration

Based on customer feedback, we continue to release updates to core EBS 12.2 components. The latest such updates consist of a set of critical patches that significantly improve the performance of connection handling, principally resolving issues where connections might not be correctly released for return to the data source connection pool.

There are two patches for Release 12.2.3, and three for Release 12.2.4. We strongly advise all 12.2.3 and 12.2.4 customers to apply the respective patches.

The patches are documented in the associated release notes, as described below.

    Hello Steven,

I have installed the Oracle VM with EBS 12.2.4 and 11g database.

The installation was a charm, absolutely no issues.

As clients of Oracle, we typically we use VM templates to speed up deliverables by trying out new features that are made available functionally and also get an understanding of the technology stack.

I am struggling with baseline functionality offered is VISION instance.

Example : I have been trying to work through Order Management by Navigating to Sales order(Vision Operations) forms, just to create a simple order and see basic issues mentioned below

    ORA-04062 of has been changed

    ORA-01403: non data found

Can we get help on what are the basic patches that needs to be applied to make these fundamental thing working.

Since we have Oracle CSI, downloading these patches is not an issue at all.

    Appreciate your reply

    Vasanth

    Hello, Vasanth,

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered an issue with this.

We can provide general conceptual guidance here, but I'm afraid that this blog isn't the best place to get technical support for specific issues like the one that you're working through.

Your best bet would be to log a formal Service Request via My Oracle Support (formerly Metalink) to get one of our specialists engaged.

    Regards,

    Steven
