    Hi, Pavan,

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered an issue with this.

We can provide general conceptual guidance here, but I'm afraid that this blog isn't the best place to get technical support for specific issues like the one that you're working through.

Your best bet would be to log a formal Service Request via My Oracle Support (formerly Metalink) to get one of our specialists engaged.

    Regards,
    Steven

    Hi Steven,
Looks like Forms/Reports Developer 10G certification on Windows 10 was rescinded for EBS 12.x.

Can you please confirm? Are there any plans for certification.

    Thanks,
    Rathnakar

    Hello Rathnakar,

Our issues revolve around the Forms development infrastructure, which is no longer able to support potential issues with Windows 8 and higher. Since we cannot guarantee the release of a patch, we cannot recommend customers to use those configurations.

Our recommendation will still be to retain a Windows 7 PC to maintain your Forms-based customizations. Some customers have discussed air-gapping those instances, either physically or via virtualization.

The Forms 10g certification matrix is published here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/as-certification-r2-101202-095871.html

That document shows that the latest certified Linux desktop clients are Oracle Enterprise Linux 4.0, 5.0; Red Hat Linux AS 3.0,4.0,5.0; SUSE 9,10.

    Thanks,
    Anshuman Chopra

    Hello
I've been blogging multiple hacks for Developer 10g on Windows 10, the latest being setting up the compatibility mode for Windows 7 that addresses random freezing of Reports Developer 10g.
We're using Oracle EBS R12 (12.0.6) & the business is never expecting to receive requrests for custom reports and forms!. In addition, a business application is NOT that something a business is ready to keep on upgrading or replace once in couple of years time.
With almost all Windows machines are moving to Windows 10, Oracle's lack of support for Developer 10g is making our lives miserable. Minimum ONE patch should be made available to make the Developer 10g stable on Windows 10.

    regards,

    Rajesh

On oracle support note 277535.1 Larry states oracle forms/reports developer NOT certified on win10. Why this fake news?

Hello Louis - It is not fake news.
