EBS on Oracle Cloud at OpenWorld 2016

Terri Noyes
Product Management Director

It's that time of year again, and we are getting ready for Oracle OpenWorld. The conference is being held at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco from September 18-22.

As a result, this blog will be in hiatus for a couple of weeks.  After the conference is over, we will pick up where we left off.

There are many opportunities to learn about Oracle E-Business Suite on Oracle Cloud at this year's conference, in the form of presentations, a customer panel, and a meet the experts session.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • Decision makers will not want to miss Strategy Sr. Director Nadia Bendjedou's Running your E-Business Suite on Oracle Cloud (IaaS + PaaS) - Why, What and How [CON1420].
  • For a technical audience, Development VP Veshaal Singh's Oracle E-Business Suite in Oracle Cloud: Technical Insight [CON6723] provides a behind the scenes look at EBS on Cloud.
  • Product Manager Elke Phelps covers the EBS on Cloud architecture in Advanced Architectures for Oracle E-Business Suite [CON6705].
  • Development Director Srikrishna Bandi gets into the mechanics of the provisioning and lift and shift processes in Deploying Oracle E-Business Suite for On-Premises Cloud and Oracle Cloud [CON6701].
  • Other sessions cover specialized topics such as Migrating and Managing Customizations, Hybrid Cloud ManagementInformation Discovery, and Using the Oracle Integration Cloud Service.

We are also pleased to offer two interactive events that will be of interest to all attendees:

  • An EBS on Cloud Meet the Experts session, where you will have an opportunity to ask questions directly of EBS and Cloud experts from different disciplines.
  • An EBS on Cloud Customer and Partner Panel, where customers and partners who have engaged in significant projects share their insights and take your questions.

See below for the full list of sessions.

P.S. On a personal note, I'm unable to attend OOW myself this year, but hope
you are able to take advantage of this great opportunity. Enjoy!
