In a previous article, Hybrid Cloud Management Using Application Management Suite, we described how you can use Application Management Suite for Oracle E-Business Suite (AMS) to manage and monitor your cloud and on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite environments from a single central console.

AMS components are installed in an on-premises
environment. To allow AMS to discover and manage Oracle E-Business Suite targets hosted on Oracle Cloud, you must first configure the associated Enterprise Manager (EM) agent as a hybrid cloud gateway, and then deploy a hybrid cloud agent on each Oracle Compute Cloud instance where EBS is deployed. An SSH communication channel is required for the on-premises OMS
(Oracle Management Service) to communicate with the hybrid cloud agents.

The following diagram shows an example architecture for a hybrid cloud deployment.

To utilize the latest hybrid cloud management functionality, you need Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Release 13c and Application Management Suite 13.1.1.1.0.

For detailed setup instructions, refer to  Section 17, Enabling Hybrid Cloud Management, in Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Administrator's Guide.
