Are You Considering Item Web Services for Oracle Product Hub?

Need information on the different item web services available for Oracle Product Hub? Yes? Then we bet your concerned about extracting Product Hub item and structure information because of the complexity of item attributes. Your probably especially concerned if you have a large number of user-defined attributes (UDA's). No Worries. The Inventory Social Media team will again be a beacon.

Oracle Product Hub provides web services for publishing and integration to other external systems, and the functionality has evolved over various releases (12.1.x and higher). It may be overwhelming to review the various options available and select what best suits your business requirements and still stay supported by Oracle. To help out, we suggest Doc ID 1931478.1 which provides a complete discussion on the various options available, tools required, terminology used, supportability moving forward, setup required, limitations and workarounds.

We would also suggest the following brown bags on available features:
OPH: Brownbag on Publication and WebServices [Video] (Doc ID 1613913.1)
PDH/EGO/PIM/OPH: Webinar on Publishing Metadata (Item Catalog Categories, Value Sets and Attribute Groups) from PDH to PDH Instances in R12.2 [Video] (Doc ID 1926970.1)

Keep in mind web services are also available for other publishing entities like Item Catalog Categories and Value Sets. Use the MOS notes like above and implementing item web services may be easier than you think. Cheers!
