Introducing the Oracle EBS Quoting Analyzer

Michele Casey
Principal Technical Support Engineer

Quoting is a big part of EBS CRM- Sales and Marketing. The Quoting Analyzer allows you to review data and setups that tend to cause issues with Quoting.

The Oracle EBS Quoting Analyzer is a tool designed to review and report quoting profiles, setups and data by recommending known datafixes, code updates, and other guided assistance. It is a must-use tool for Customers who use the Sales and Marketing functionality. We recommend that the analyzer be run proactively and regularly, to help you keep ahead of any Quoting issues. And of course, the analyzer is the go-to tool when having any Quoting errors or issues. The analyzer is so convenient, you can even schedule it to run as a Concurrent Program (like any analyzer).

The Oracle EBS Quoting Analyzer includes checks for:

  • Verify the quoting profiles and file versions
  • Easy setup checks related to general Quoting setup, security access setup, approval management setup.
  • Intermedia Setup and Quote Data Snapshots
