Installed Base Users - Fix Your IB Issues!

Back in March we told you about a new tool to help you identify and fix Install Base errors (E-Business CRM Install Base Analyzer is Now Available!). Customers and Oracle Analysts alike are finding this Analyzer extremely useful, so we just wanted to get the word out again.

The IB Analyzer (Doc ID 1597450.1) is designed to make recommendations on best practices and reveal areas of concern based on your current setup and transaction status. It can be run manually or as a concurrent request. This is a non-invasive script which provides recommended actions to be performed on the instance it was run on and can be run at any time.

The script runs a series of checks and gives a status on each one, letting you know if there are critical problems that need immediate action, warnings to help you avoid problems in the future and a green light for checks which pass without problems.

If you are an experienced IB user, then you'll know that identifying and fixing IB transaction errors can be tricky, the IB Analyzer will identify errors and point you to the datafix scripts that you should run. Doesn't that sound good?
