Use the Item Open Interface to Quickly Add or Update Inventory Items

WHAT, time is of the essence when creating your Inventory items!?!? You need to create items, update existing items, item revisions, or update an item attribute from one value to another, posthaste? No worries, Oracle Inventory has the exact functionality needed in the Item Open Interface (IOI). See document How to use the Item Open Interface (Doc ID 1457314.1).

The IOI process is used to create new items and/or update existing item attribute(s). You have the ability to use templates for mass changes or simply change individual attributes. The IOI process can be especially helpful when loading items during a new install or when upgrading.
