New Troubleshooting Assistant for SEPA Issues

Customers still have questions on SEPA functionality so we have created a new Troubleshooting Assistant to help you find the answers to your SEPA related questions more efficiently.

This assistant provides you with a quicker way to locate documentation and white papers on implementation, setup and country specific requirements in addition to providing troubleshooting assistance which helps you locate solutions to your problems with ease and with a minimal amount of searching.

Please take a look at R11i/12: EBS: Assistant: Single European Payment Area (SEPA) (Doc ID 1634053.2) next time you have a SEPA concern and let us know what you think!

Comments:

I am trying to set up a SEPA IBAN beneficiary and my bank won't allow me to key in the beneficiary's IBAN number even though the they insist it is correct.

IBAN IE02 changes into IE25 in the online system (transfer from Bank of Ireland to AIB Ireland).

thanks,
TR

Hi TR,

I looked for this in MOS using search terms:sepa iban number beneficiary iban and found R12: IBAN - International Bank Account Number Related Issues and Resolution (Doc ID 1506193.1)

This states in Q3 ...
To check the validity of the value your entered on the IBAN field please follow the following link to check "http://de.physnet.net/PhysNet/iban.html"

If the number proves to be valid then you would need to raise an SR for that issue.

Thanks!
