Oracle Secure Global Desktop 4.7 availabe now

On Thursday, 16th of August,  Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle Secure Global Desktop 4.7 (OSGD 4.7). We are supporting now newer browsers and host operating systems like Oracle Linux 6.3 (Red Hat 6.3) and Solaris 11.  Look also
for Exalogic: SGD for cloud access. SGD is supported for VirtualBox, Oracle VM, LDoms  and VMware.

Highlighted Features of Oracle Secure Global Desptop 4.7:

- Host OS Solaris 11, Oracle Linux 6.3 (Red Hat 6.3)
- Oracle VM and VMware VM support
- New Application OS versions
- Newer Browser Version

- improved java-less experience
- compatibility check

New X.org Server (7.6) Version
- X Keyboard X extensions, legacy keyboards and server-side configuration are no longer required to process keyboard input for X applications

- Multimonitor with RANDR and XINERAMA X extensions
- OpenGL/GLX 1.4 - better 3D graphic performance and compatibility

New Virtual Server Broker
- new broker uses Oracle VDI web services API
- SGD and Oracle VDI can be installed on different hosts

- Secure Installation by default (SSL)
