If you are a coffee lover and you happen to like chocolate have I just
tried a recipe that is for you. I found this
a while back and printed it out right away. Tonight I finally
had a chance to make a back and let me tell you the are as stated decadent
I did not follow the recipe totally... I used regular flour, non-organic
eggs, ... I used what I had and they still turned out wonderful. I
understand the need for the full organic way but if you don't have all
of those then just make them and enjoy.
The recipe stated that one should expect to get 24 to 36 cookies from
the batch and that if you freeze the dough one can just bake as needed.
I followed this advice and froze a good portion of the dough. I baked up
16 for a dinner party we are having in a couple of days (and immediately
split one with my wife over a glass of milk). I made up the dough balls
for the rest and they are freezing away. We ended up getting 48 out of
the batch so it all depends on the size of the cookie that one ones.
Now don't get scared off because you have to go and drop some cash on
the chocolate covered espresso beans... it is worth it in the end. I
used a very nice espresso in the recipe. If you have not heard my
recommendation before, try Black
Cat Espresso from IntelligentsiA.
For the number of plugs that I have given them I am thinking I should be
seeing a free pound or two... hint hint if you IntelligensiA boys and
girls are listening.
Make and enjoy.
For what it's worth.
