"In Oracle SOA Suite 11 it is easy to put everything into a SCA Composit that makes a SOA solution – BPEL processes, integration logic, business rules, human interaction – you name it," writes Hajo Normann. "The question architects should consider is whether conceptually all these belong tightly bundled together. The answer depends on the desired degree of loose coupling. "
"You need to be either an Oracle employee, or an OTN member in order to use it. It's backed with Subversion (yay!), so you'll need hat to contribute. The number of projects is still fairly small at the moment... and it doesn't have a category for Oracle UCM yet. However, once it does, I'm sure we could get the number of projects there up to 20 or so ;-)"
The quicker you can show success in SOA projects, " the quicker you’ll win those new projects, get more business, save money, or whatever your goals may be,' says Oracle ACE Bradley Brown. " The Agile process allows for quick wins through quick turns."
According to Oracle ACE Director Mark Rittman, "The most obvious change in the 11g Discoverer release is the move away from Oracle Application Server, and OC4J, to start using Oracle Weblogic Server which is now the standard within Oracle Fusion Middleware."
