Something for Architects, too, two
By Bob Rhubart-Oracle on Aug 19, 2010
A previous post mentioned that there is plenty for architects to do at JavaOne 2010, including the more than 50 sessions in the Enterprise Service Architectures and the Cloud track. But that's only a part of the story.
Since JavaOne and Oracle Develop registration is a two-fer, you'll have access to even more sessions and events that will appeal to your architectural interests. For instance, there are nearly 40 sessions in Oracle Develop's Service-Oriented Architecture track and more than 30 sessions in Develop's Application Grid and Oracle WebLogic track. So between the three tracks mentioned here you're looking at nearly 120 sessions covering topics relevant to software architects.
And if that's not enough to keep you busy - or if trying to keep up wears you out - you can hang out in the Mason Street Tent for a little R&R. You'll find refreshments, t-shirts, software, and other cool swag, along with plenty of opportunity to network with your peers and community luminaries. And don't forget the Architect Meet-up at 5:00pm on Tuesday, 9/21. It's open to all architects attending JavaOne, Oracle Develop, and Oracle OpenWorld.
The Mason Street Tent is located between the Hilton and Nikko hotels, occupying the entire block from Ellis to O'Farrell. We'll see you there.
