NetBeans or Solaris Studio?  Which one should you use and why?

This blog by Vijay Tatkar provides an excellent overview.

If you'd like more, two sessions at Oracle Develop (September 19-23 at The Zone in San Francisco, California) will show you how to develop applications with each IDE on Oracle Solaris.  Todd Tornga's session on NetBeans will show you how to build standalone applications and web services, while Vijay's session (with Darryl and Ikroop) will demonstrate how Solaris Studio can make your Solaris or Linux application run much faster with parallel processing.
