GlassFish v3 Prelude and Portlet Container 2.0_01

The OpenPortal Portlet Container 2.0 Update 1 runs on GlassFish v3 Prelude

Set ANT_HOME and use CLI to install as follows (there is an issue with GUI install)

java -jar portlet-container-configurator.jar glassfishv3-prelude\\glassfish glassfishv3-prelude\\glassfish\\domains\\domain1

Note: the glassfish home is glassfishv3-prelude\\glassfish

Please report any issues that you encounter to users@portlet-container.dev.java.net.

Comments:

This installation method doesn't work. After restart of GlassFish v3 there is an error in server.log:

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sun.portal.container.service.ServiceManagerContextListenerImpl

The "container.jar" that contains this file placed into "domain_dir/lib" folder but seems like it can't be found.

Looks like the installation didn't go through. Can you check the logs in glassfish/domains/domain1/portlet-container/logs.

Problem was fixed after copying "container.jar" into main "lib" directory instead of domain "lib" directory.

P.S I used GlassFish v3 (Release), Portlet Container 2.1

where is portlet-container.jar and other portlet-\*.jar?

These jars and "container.jar" are in "<domain>/lib" directory. But it start to work after copying "container.jar" into "<GlassFish Home>/lib" lib directory.

Hi,i try with glassfish v3 and:

Checking Portlet Container Installation ...Portlet Container may not have been installed properly on GlassFish.
It may take several seconds to install portlet container during first time server start up.
Wait for some time and check the url {0}
to verify portlet container installation.
If not installed then install it using command
"java -jar portlet-container-configurator.jar <AppServerInstallRoot> <DomainDir>" Updating configuration from org.apache.felix.fileinstall-autodeploy-bundles.cfg
Installed C:\\Program Files (x86)\\sges-v3\\glassfish\\modules\\autostart\\org.apache.felix.fileinstall-autodeploy-bundles.cfg
{felix.fileinstall.poll (ms) = 5000, felix.fileinstall.dir = C:\\Program Files (x86)\\sges-v3\\glassfish\\domains\\domain1\\autodeploy\\bundles, felix.fileinstall.debug = 1, felix.fileinstall.bundles.new.start = true, felix.fileinstall.tmpdir = C:\\Users\\Eduardo\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\fileinstall--497840084638374250, felix.fileinstall.filter = null}
