Refreshed Service Console Makes Exadata Express Cloud Service Even Easier to Use

Starting on Friday, August 18th, 2017, Oracle Database Exadata Express Cloud Service receives a major refresh to its service console user interface.

This refresh divides the broad capabilities of Exadata Express into three simple navigation tabs: one for developers, one for service administrators, and one that provides a jumping-off point for anyone to get started quickly. A new “Welcome Tour” video series available on the Home screen walks users through step-by-step instructions on how to use Exadata Express. A new dashboard displays the exact Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Database versions, while a new graphical meter shows the current database storage consumed. The console also incorporates new contextual documentation links and other usability improvements. In combination, these enhancements make the console easier to use than ever before.

To see the new design for yourself, watch Exadata Express service console in action in a new video playlist on Oracle Learning Library YouTube channel or simply sign in to your existing account and navigate to the console.
