We have added several new deployment types and connectors to the OCI GoldenGate platform in the past 12 months (1st wave, 2nd wave, 3rd wave), and today, we are introducing a new Deployment Type for Data Transforms and 40+ new connectors! A new deployment type for creating Cloud data pipelines
You may already know about Data Transforms if you are an Autonomous Database user. Data Transforms is part of Data Studio in Autonomous Databases, and now we are making it more broadly available for additional use cases within OCI GoldenGate!
Data Transforms offers an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop, no-code approach to developing data pipelines with rich data transformations, machine learning, and batch/micro-batch ETL/ELT capabilities. Developers working with OCI GoldenGate can create new Data Transforms deployments with or without an Autonomous Database, integrate with any source or target supported by OCI-GG, and combine best-in-class data replication features with complex batch data processing in their Cloud data pipelines.
40+ new connectors
Last year at CloudWorld, we announced support for 30+ new heterogeneous data platforms with OCI GoldenGate. This year, we are adding more than 40+ new technologies to OCI GoldenGate for the new Data Transforms deployment type. With this new wave of connectors, OCI GoldenGate users will be able to create replication flows with Google Cloud Storage, Amazon Kinesis, Redis, or Elasticsearch, as well as design cloud data pipelines with many more technologies, such as Oracle Fusion Applications, Salesforce, or SAP S/4 HANA Cloud.
