What Every Computer Programmer Should Know About Floating-Point Arithmetic

I'm a part-time master's student in Stanford's ICME program and at the
departmental seminar
I recently gave a talk,
What Every Computer Programmer Should Know About Floating-Point Arithmetic.
This is a refinement and update of
JavaOne talks I've given with a similar title.

    This is great information.
I came over this info on Sun's Website and there were a couple of new items in this PDF that were cool: specifically, the hard info about the IEE formats and where they will "let you down" if you take them for granted was a very useful approach.
    Thanks!
