Static List View Objects exposed to UI in a Select One Choice List

To quickly create a static list that you can easily assign to an attribute in an entity object and persist try using a Static List View Object.

In this demo I have an ADF Fusion Starter Application Workspace that contains a Model and ViewController project with a entity and view object based on a single customers table with three fields as follows: CUSTID, CUSTOMERNAME and COUNTRY. CUSTID is based on a dbsequence. What I'll show you is how to create a Static List View Object for countries and then expose this to a UI where you can select a country from a static list and assign that country to a customer. Further, you can persist this to you customers table.

For best viewing be sure to select HD in the viewlet video controls and take it full screen also from the controls. Check it out!
