JavaOne and Oracle Open World 2013

I'll be up at both JavaOne and Oracle Open World presenting. I have a total of three presentations:

  • Mixed-Language Development: Leveraging Native Code from Java
  • Performance Tuning Where Java Meets the Hardware
  • Developing Efficient Database Applications with C and C++

I'm excited by these opportunities - particularly working with Charlie Hunt diving into Java Performance.

Comments:

Darryl unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to attend to.

At the moment I have one question on MPSS and pmap -xs that's bothering me :-)
Would you mind letting me know why sometimes the Pgsz column shows a '-' ?
I've searched MOS and all your books at Safari and didn't find the answer.

Sorry to contact you this way.
Thanks anyway.

Hi,

I'd guess that physical memory has not actually been allocated to back the virtual memory. But I'm a bit stuck without an example code.

Regards,

Darryl.
