Rubbing Elbows with Winners

Sorry, I don't have the picture to prove it. I forgot my camera the day of the Midsize CRM On Demand customer panel at Oracle OpenWorld 2010, but I was on stage with a group of star customers.

I was completely impressed by the group assembled for the panel. We even had a 2010 Oracle Titan Award Winner: MidSouth Bank.

The other panelists were from AZZ, Cydcor and SGI. And from my perspective, they all deserved awards, as they delivered excellent highlights of successful CRM On Demand implementations.

But, since MidSouth Bank won the Titan Award announced at OpenWorld, I'm going to highlight the story told by Alex Callicchia, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at MidSouth Bank. I'll highlight the other customers soon!

MidSouth Bank is a community bank and focuses primarily on offering commercial and consumer loan and deposit services to individuals, and small and middle market businesses in south Louisiana and southeast Texas.

Alex discussed their initiative to get "closer to the customer" and improve operational efficiency.

MidSouth Bank, with the help of eVerge, has integrated Oracle CRM On Demand with their core banking system using Pervasive Software. They have also implemented Oracle Inner Circle Partner, Xactly, for sales performance management.

Some of the benefits Alex discussed:

  • Enabling a single, cohesive view of the customer relationship that had been on disparate systems previously

  • Providing marketing, front-line sales teams and tellers with "White Space" analysis for customer profiling and suggestions of a best offer during customer interactions

  • Automating service processes and tracking with the ability to benchmark back office support SLAs and improve customer service

  • Reducing time to manage incentive programs for the retail bank by 90%
