B2C Service: Configuration Assistant – Redwood, Oracle Messaging and More..!

The Oracle B2C Service Configuration Assistant is a self-service tool that lets Oracle B2C Service application administrators managing B2C Service and Intelligent Advisor sites. For example, you can create a B2C Service or an Intelligent Advisor site and integrate Oracle products and services such as B2C Chat and Oracle Live Experience Cloud. It is also possible to manage the version update schedule, mailboxes and SSL certificates using Configuration Assistant.  

In this blog we will cover recent changes in Configuration Assistant that will help you and your organization manage B2C Service and Intelligent Advisor sites. To kick off the self-service and digital transformation we have released the following features:
 

Oracle Messaging: Oracle Messaging utilizes Oracle Service Chat to provide native integration to Facebook Messenger, WeChat, SMS and other messaging platforms, so you can serve your customers in channels where they want to be served. Both customers and service agents can chat using their default messaging applications. If you have a B2C Service site with Chat enabled you are ready to go as Oracle Messaging is included in Chat subscription. Please refer to the documentation for more details. 

Feedback Widget: We have added a Feedback widget so that you can tell us how we can improve Configuration Assistant. We are listening to your feedback.. Please let us know what you think, your challenges, needs etc.

Redwood Theme: With the adoption of the Oracle Redwood theme we cleaned up the UI and introduced quality-of-life improvements in many places so that you can perform administration tasks more quickly and easily.

•    Ability to reschedule/cancel test site creation
•    Access to Apache log files
