Oracle is #1 in CRM Applications Again!

We are happy to share some exciting news. We got word that IDC has just finalized it's market share numbers for 2010, and that Oracle is once again in the number one spot for CRM applications.

  • Oracle had a share of 11.8% in 2010 which was several points higher than our competition 
  • Oracle increased share by a full perecentage point, from 10.8% (2009) to 11.8%, and had a growth rate of 15.9%, above the industry average of 6.2%

 IDC defines CRM as having four sub-categories: Contact Center, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales. This includes the following Oracle products:

    • CRM modules in EBS (incentive compensation, iStore, marketing, service, sales and trade management)
    • CRM components of JDE
    • CRM components of PeopleSoft
    • Oracle CRM On Demand
