Life Sciences Edition Offers Remedy for Unwieldy Paperwork

Guest Author

Did you know that when a pharmaceutical sales representative meets with a doctor, the average presentation time is only a minute and a half? With such brief meetings, common unavailability of wireless access, and regulatory compliance requirements, this is no time to fumble. Oracle has a great team of applications software usability experts who went along on sales calls. They designed Oracle's Offline Client to improve how life sciences customers work.

The application delivers special tools for the on-the-go sales rep who needs to be offline while talking with customers, leaving samples at clinics or hospitals, and gathering signatures, if required. The Offline Client for Life Sciences provides an easy, one-stop venue for sales reps to analyze their territory, plan sales calls, easily access and present information on drugs, and gather the necessary documentation that their job requires. A minute and a half meeting, man that was too quick!! Software usability really is helpful, especially these days. I wish they would have this kind of stuff in the 3rd world countries like the Philippines or Vietnam.
