I'll just come out and admit it. I really do. And I love Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Brian Tracy, the late Napoleon Hill, etc., etc. Yes I do. I love any of these personal development gurus who can teach us how to be more effective in life and in business, by using more of our "personal power."
Now...what the heck does any of this have to do with CRM? Two things.
1) The last time I checked, CRM is all about maximizing the effectiveness of customer relationships. Yes, technology is important, but let's not overlook the importance of the PEOPLE dimension. So what's the mindset you'll take in approaching your sales, marketing and service interactions? One of cynicism or negativity? One of, "The customer is always wrong," or "It's someone else's fault that my team can't make its quota?" Or one that's more empowering and positive.
2) But I digress. The REAL reason for this post -- and guilty as charged of burying the lede -- is to again tell you about Oracle's upcoming series of Field events, titled, "Outsmart and Out Execute Your Competition." Yes, we'll have customers sharing their CRM experiences. And these stories are tremendously valuable. We'll also be featuring a Partner Demo Showcase and Networking Reception. But what appeals to me at least as much as what I've mentioned so far, is the fact that representatives from the Zig Ziglar organization will be speaking at these events.
Click here to learn more and register. As mentioned on a previous post, the first event is coming up NEXT WEEK here in the San Francisco Bay Area, on March 4th. I will see you there.
