Check Out Oracle Service Cloud’s Latest Release - August 2016

The latest Oracle Service Cloud release is now Generally Available (GA). Oracle Service Cloud August 2016 continues to power great customer experiences adding new capabilities across the platform including:

  • Web Customer Service enhancements for Social Self Service forum functionality such as ratings widgets, roll set callouts, and banner accessibility.
  • Knowledge Management enhancements to Knowledge Advanced functionality such as Customer Portal content recommendations, Customer Portal related answers, and new analytics dashboards and reports.
  • Policy Automation enhancements for interview analytics, omni-channel interviews, relationship handling, and rule scripts.
  • Field Service enhancements to Field Resource Manager, map functionality, collaboration, natural learning, core manage and routing enhancements, integrations, and more!

In addition, this release introduces a multi-platform Mobile Accelerator to easily create a tailored mobile app, enabling an organization's employees to seamlessly access customer and case information, tasks, view dashboards, and more on their own mobile device. The Mobile Accelerator leverages Oracle’s robust Mobile Application Framework (MAF) with common development frameworks like Java, JavaScript, and HTML5 enabling organizations to easily create single code base applications that run on iOS, Android, and Windows phones.
