Safety First”. Employers are responsible for protecting their employees, as well as members of the public when they are involved with their organization. It is important for an organization to have a health and safety policy and procedure in place to minimize risk, especially in the wake of COVID-19. Capabilities in your PeopleSoft HCM can assist you with monitoring your workplace’s health and safety.
PeopleSoft’s Health and Safety module (included with your HCM Human Resource license) can help your organization simplify the capturing of vital health and safety information in various ways, such as:
Employees using Self Service can enter an incident for themselves or the Health & Safety Administrator can enter an incident on behalf of an employee using the Health & Safety Incident and Injury pages.
For more information on how an employee enters an incident via Self Service, check out the PeopleSoft Employee Health and Safety video.
With PeopleSoft HCM Image 36, we delivered a Health & Safety Administrator homepage to help streamline Health & Safety configuration and monitoring.
We delivered three (3) new tiles – Manage Incidents, Reporting and Integration and Configure Health & Safety. New security role - Health and Safety ADM Fluid.
Note: Health & Safety Administrators can still access Health & Safety via Monitor Workplace navigation, this just another (easier) option to access the data.
The Manage Incidents tile allows the Health & Safety Administrator to manage employee incidents like Incident and Injury Details and Corrective/Preventative Actions associated with a reported incident.
The Reporting and Integration Tile is where the Health & Safety reports like Employees in Incident and legislative reporting like OSHA are located.
The Configure Health & Safety page is where the Health & Safety Administrator can configure health and safety tables like body parts or occupational illnesses. The Self- Service page is to update the delivered employee self service templates for reporting an incident.
