Safety First. Health & Safety analytics can help you with your employee COVID tracking

Safety First”.   Employers are responsible for protecting their employees, as well as members of the public when they are involved with their organization.  It is important for an organization to have a health and safety policy and procedure in place to minimize risk, especially in the wake of COVID-19.  The delivered Health & Safety analytics can help in the monitoring of employees testing positive with COVID-19.

PeopleSoft’s Health and Safety module (included with HCM’s Human Resource license) can help your organization simplify the capturing of vital health and safety information in various ways, such as:

  • Defining injuries and illnesses
  • Defining work restrictions (ex. working from home)
  • Tracking incidents and illness information for employees and visitors
  • Tracking immunizations, test results
  • Tracking actions of incident (preventative and corrective actions)
  • Reporting information about the incident to reporting authority (ex. OSHA)
  • Analysis of incidents reported using Kibana Analytics
  • Defining dangerous occurrences and hazards (ex. chemical spills)

The Incident Details allows you to filter on COVID-19 to see how COVID has affected your organization

Navigation – Workforce Admin dashboard > Manage Health & Safety > Health & Safety Analytics

Incidents by Date show number of employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 – shows if their a decline or increase (outbreak) in cases at your workplace.

You can see where the highest level of COVID Incidents by Location – may need to review and add additional safety measures to keep employees safe.

Reportable Cases show the number of employees reported COVID cases and of those reported cases, how many are reportable to a government agency like OSHA (USA).    Total Days Away From Work captures the number of work days employees missed due to COVID-19 due to being sick and/or quarantining.

Primary Outcomes highlights for those employees with COVID-19 if they required Medical Treatment, Hospitalization or No Treatment at all – the seriousness of their symptoms.

Incident Details provides a summary of the employee COVID cases details, to see additional information, click on the Details hyperlink to incident details in the Health & Safety module.
