No one expects to have to completely change their primary system infrastructure overnight. But when COVID-19 hit, many were faced with the reality that their system didn’t allow for the bevy of new features they would need to operate in the new normal, including integration with contactless technology, delivery services, new suppliers and more. But for those running an open system architecture, they were surprised to find they could seamlessly pivot to an off-premise service model through simple APIs.
This is something that has bought comfort to so many restaurateurs when discussing their off-premise options during our complimentary 5-Point Assessments. With our diverse partner ecosystem of over 75 validated partner solutions, our experts have been able to talk to customers at length about the best options for their restaurant, no matter their size.
By combining the Oracle Food and Beverage (F&B) open API strategy with our strong partner portfolio, we offer a one stop shop for customers to ensure that they can build the technology solution that is right for their restaurant business.
The Simphony Partner Integration Program
Since the launch of our Simphony Partner Integration Program last year, we have seen a tremendous response. Between March and May of this year alone, we saw nearly 50% growth in published application listings to our Oracle Food and Beverage Cloud Marketplace. This easy to use marketplace allows our customers to not only browse our extensive partner network, but also filter it by solution type, region, or release date, to help make the decision making the process simpler.
When partners choose to integrate with Oracle, they enable restaurants to extend their Simphony platform. As a result, our growing partner community develops Simphony integrations that drive incremental revenue or help restaurants improve operational costs. Joining Oracle F&B Cloud Marketplace puts a partner solution in the spotlight, increasing brand awareness and introducing your solution to a global audience.
POS Integrations in 4 Easy Steps
Step 1 – Develop
The first step as a Simphony integrator is to develop your repeatable solution against one of our publicly available APIs. Apiary is Oracle one stop API and Integration platform providing you with documentation and coding samples that you can use to verify your solution against Oracle's specifications.
Step 2 – Register
The next step is to register for a Publisher account, which will enable your company to publish your validated Simphony interface on the Oracle F&B Cloud Marketplace. To accomplish this, you will need to complete the Publisher account registration form to request access to Oracle Cloud Marketplace (OCM).
Step 3 – Submit
Upon approval, you will have access to the Marketplace Partner Portal to begin submitting your application listing. Partner Portal. As a Partner Administrator, you can extend access to colleagues that will assist in creating your application listing. For more details on how to create and submit your application listing for approval, please visit the OCM Partner Portal Help Center.
Step 4 – Publish
Now that your Simphony interface has been validated, you can publish your application listing to the Oracle F&B Cloud Marketplace. An approval email will be shared with any team member that has access to the Marketplace Partner Portal. You can reference the OCM Partner Portal Help Center for how to publish your listing. Our marketplace offers a unique opportunity to promote your integrated solution to both our current and prospective customers as well as to our direct sales and reseller communities.
